Even though I am not much of a sports person, I remember the name Mike Tyson vividly and sadly, in connection with his biting off his opponent Evander Holyfield’s ear in a boxing match. And this incident was not an exception because he has a list of incidents linked to his name, which he is surely not proud of. His life is full of extremes of failure and stupendous success. Let’s try and understand his Numerological chart to see the reasons for these happenings.
Mike Tyson was born on 30th June 1966 (30/06/1966). As you can see the addition of his Birthdate (30/3) and his Birth Month (6) comes to a 9. Such charts are called Karmic charts and they do come with some challenges.
His Birthdate being 30/3, he is a creative person for whom self-expression is necessary for his happiness. Even though Number 3 people (Birthdate 30/3) normally choose to express themselves through words or some art form, his name MICHAEL TYSON adding to a 54/9 in Pythagorean Numerology has led him to embrace the profession of Boxing, which is an activity appropriate for Number 9 people who are more athletic and have a fighting spirit.

Pinnacles and Challenges:
His major Pinnacles (Pinnacles indicate the direction in which progress will lead us) in life upto the age of 50 have been either 9 or 7 which means he was meant to have experiences that would give rise to humanitarian and spiritual awareness in him. Of course this rarely happens without much suffering and struggle. This explains the tough times he has gone through almost all his life.
His Challenge (The lessons to be learnt in a particular period) during the first 30 years of his life was a “3”which made it difficult for him to express himself through words which is a trait of a number 3 person like him and forced him to express himself through anger.

During this phase of his life his Hidden Life Path (Essence of the period) of 14/5 had begun which is again a Karmic number where there is a danger of misuse of freedom. The key to this Karmic debt is commitment, avoid sensory indulgence, maintain order and faith. However, he fell victim to abuse of drugs, alcohol and overindulgence in sensual pleasures.
