In memory of my brother Abhay, written a few days after his passing away.
I remember your pact,
Of wishing me back,
To hug you tight,
At your last sight.
Knew you were good,
At making promises true,
Didn’t know you would,
Fulfill this vow too.
Alas, forgot to pray,
That you should stay,
At least Till my return,
But you ended your sojourn.
You give me your visions,
And your presence felt,
Because it was life’s mission,
That I never See you when you left.
Your going away such,
Made me understand,
What Surrender is all about,
Which I never would have,
Had you been around.
