Demi Moore has just published her autobiography “Inside Out” describing her life’s journey. Even reading the brief synopsis of it seemed like a heart-wrenching story. Checking her Numerological chart, revealed many clues as to why she may have done some of the things that she did.
In Numerology a person’s Date of Birth (DOB) and the sum of the entire birth-date (mm+dd+yy) called Life Path (LP) are the two most important numbers. Then comes your Name and its compatibility with your LP and your DOB.
There are mainly two schools of Numerology, viz. Pythagorean and Chaldean. Now let’s briefly analyze Demi’s Numerological chart.
Her birthday falls on 11/11/1962. Both her birth-date and her birth month are 11. 11 is a master number in Numerology. It brings with it, a certain amount of nervous tension. In her case at the very beginning of life she had two 11s ruling her, which is not an easy atmosphere to grow up in. 11 is a highly spiritual number that could make people dreamy, idealistic, sensitive and temperamental. Additionally, her first Pinnacle which is the total of the birth-date and the birth month is 11+11=22 which is another master number.
Her Life Path which is the total of her entire birth-date: 11+11+1+9+6+2=40/4 is a 4. In Numerology, number 4 and number 8 are considered somewhat undesirable numbers because they denote obstacles, struggles and delays. Number 4 people are hard-working, disciplined but also very rigid and inflexible. They may have to bear the burden of the family, emotionally or financially which was very much the case with Demi.
Another important thing about her birthdate is the occurrence of number 1, five times in it. Number 1 occurring more than 3 times in your birthdate makes you an extremely compassionate human being but at the same time if it is not balanced by other practical numbers (which is true in her case) a person can end up sabotaging one’s own life due to excessive compassion and stubbornness.
Now let’s look at her name and see how it has shaped her life.
Her first name Demi adds to a 22 in Pythagorean Numerology. So now there are 4 master numbers ruling the first phase of her life (2, 11s and 2, 22s). It’s this master number 22 of her first name and her first pinnacle 22 which gave her big dreams and the capacity to fulfill them despite the trying circumstances in her childhood.
As per Chaldean numerology, her first name adds to a 14/5, a Karmic number. People with this karmic number of 14/5 are forced to adapt to ever changing circumstances and unexpected occurrences in life. Her biological father had deserted her mother when she was expecting Demi and her step-father committed suicide when she was around 20. Her mother an alcoholic, survived several suicide attempts, from which Demi had to often rescue her!
Due to this karmic number, there is also a danger of falling victim to abuse of drugs, alcohol and over-indulgence of sensual pleasures. Demi quit school at the age of 16 to work as a pin-up girl. She married a musician Freddy Moore when she was 18. Then at 19 she starred in the Soap opera General Hospital which gave her a sudden burst of fame which she found very hard to handle. She started doing drugs to fit in the circle of the rich and famous. Her karmic first name made sure she was disloyal in marriage and so her own infidelity led to the break-up of her first marriage, making it impossible to commit to a single relationship which is also a characteristic of 14/5.
It’s been a long rough road for her. She had a troublesome childhood and adult life, in spite of the fame and glory has not been easy also. She has 3 daughters from her marriage to Bruce Willis but her relationship with her daughters is far from perfect. Her marriage to Ashton Kutcher, 15 years her junior raised several eyebrows and the divorce later, led to her doom even further.
The total of her full name (Demi Moore) 52/7 in Pythagorean has surely given her the fame and huge success that she has but it has also given her a personal life loaded with innumerable problems. In Chaldean, her first name (Demi) total of 14/5 and her full name’s (Demi Moore) total of 39/3, which are both numbers denoting a need for expression, have lured her into the creative world of stardom. But both these name numbers are absolutely incompatible with her Life Path which is why she struggled to maintain her persona and chose to resort to substance abuse. It’s interesting how she has chosen to retain the name of her first marriage so as to fulfill her soul contracts despite the annulment of her first marriage!
Has her name been good for her? Well, it has made her who she is! Could a name modification have brought about a positive change in her life? Could it have been possible for her to have both success and happiness in life? Yes, if it had been her desire to balance both, she would have definitely benefited from a more compatible name. A compatible name can help you to not be obsessive about success or happiness and be able to strike the right balance between the two.
Demi has now entered a compassionate phase of her life. Whether the same name, even though largely incompatible, will serve her well in this humanitarian and nurturing phase of her life, is a moot point. I remember having read that she has gotten into spirituality and meditation, so I hope that she can over-power the debilitating effect of her name and lead a peaceful life which she so badly needs and truly deserves!
